Conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair has made a striking claim, asserting that she secretly gave birth to a child fathered by Elon Musk. This child is reportedly Musk’s 13th, born five months ago.
St. Clair, a children’s book author known for her conservative viewpoints and her previous role at the satirical news site The Babylon Bee, revealed her allegations in a post on X, the platform owned by Musk, where she boasts over 1.1 million followers.
In her message posted on Friday, St. Clair stated, “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause. I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy and refrain from invasive reporting.”
So far, Musk, the influential tech mogul and head of various ventures including the Department of Government Efficiency, has not publicly addressed the claim regarding his 13th child. His silence on the matter leaves many questions unanswered.
In reaction to St. Clair’s announcement, one social media user shared a screenshot of a past exchange in which St. Clair discussed Musk’s tendency to father multiple children. This user remarked, “Ashley St Clair plotted for HALF A DECADE to ensnare Elon Musk.” Musk briefly responded with a simple, “Whoa,” indicating his surprise or disbelief.
St. Clair then challenged Musk directly, commenting, “Elon, we have been trying to communicate for the past several days and you have not responded.” She urged Musk to engage with her rather than reacting to unrelated remarks made by others.
On Saturday, St. Clair’s spokesperson, Brian Glicklich, provided additional context surrounding the claim, noting that Ashley and Elon have been working privately on creating an agreement for co-parenting since the child’s birth.
Glicklich, who heads the crisis communications firm Digital Strategy Ltd in Las Vegas, expressed disappointment that a tabloid journalist disrupted their plans for a confidential arrangement. He stated, “We are waiting for Elon to publicly acknowledge his parental role with Ashley to end unwarranted speculation, and Ashley trusts that Elon intends to finish their agreement quickly, in the best interests of the wellbeing and security of the child they share.”
During the weekend following St. Clair’s announcement, Musk remained active on X, posting about various topics, none of which addressed the paternity claims. His posts included updates about DOGE findings, SpaceX advancements, and his latest development in artificial intelligence.
St. Clair provided the New York Post with an exclusive interview, allowing reporters into her New York City apartment. In this setting, she shared more details about her relationship with Musk and her experience surrounding the pregnancy.
Musk, known for his extensive investments and ventures, acquired X, previously known as Twitter, in 2022 for a staggering $44 billion. St. Clair recounted that her interaction with Musk began on the platform earlier this year.
She told the Post that a pivotal moment came when she received an invitation from The Babylon Bee CEO, Seth Dillon, to meet Musk at Twitter headquarters in San Francisco. Following this meeting, she described receiving a text from Musk proposing a spontaneous trip to Providence, Rhode Island.
St. Clair disclosed that her pregnancy was shrouded in secrecy. She claimed that Musk provided substantial financial support, which included funding her Manhattan apartment near the financial district, estimated at nearly $40,000 a month, and ensuring her safety through a security detail. Despite this support, St. Clair mentioned that their romantic relationship came to an end.
Reports also surfaced indicating that the New York Post reviewed text messages allegedly exchanged between St. Clair and Musk’s financial manager, Jared Birchall, substantiating her claims regarding the secrecy surrounding her pregnancy. St. Clair recounted, “I was told to keep it secret. I was being asked to keep it a secret forever. I was completely isolated during my pregnancy. Every part of my career and everything I used to do I couldn’t do anymore. I was told not to tell anybody.”
Elon Musk, a figure often outspoken about various social issues, has previously criticized declining birth rates in the Western world. He brought his son, X Æ A-Xii, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Grimes, into the Oval Office during a live meeting with Trump recently.
Musk also shares two other children with Grimes: a daughter named Exa Dark Sideræl and a son known as Techno Mechanicus. Additionally, he and ex-wife Justine Wilson had six children together—twins Vivian and Griffin, triplets Kai, Damian, and Saxon, as well as their late son, Nevada Alexander. Musk has also welcomed twins, Strider and Azure, with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis, alongside another child whose name remains undisclosed.
The claim made by St. Clair not only adds to the narrative surrounding Musk’s expansive family but also highlights the complexities of relationships in the public eye. The media’s interaction with public figures can often blur the lines between personal and public life, influencing how stories unfold.
As discussions continue to unfold regarding this claim, the implications for all parties involved raise important questions about privacy, media ethics, and the well-being of children in such high-profile situations.
