Following a solid victory against the BYU Cougars, Texas Tech Red Raiders football coach Joey McGuire expressed his thoughts on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish’s independent status, making headlines across the sports world.
In his postgame remarks, McGuire acknowledged BYU’s recent transition from independence to joining the Big 12 Conference, highlighting the significance of such a move in today’s college football landscape.
