The atmosphere at Zellerbach Hall was charged as left-wing activists attempted to disrupt the final stop on the Turning Point USA tour, titled “This is the Turning Point.” Attendees faced intimidation and hostility while trying to enter and exit the venue, all while police engaged with a frenzied crowd exhibiting violent behavior.
The event featured notable speakers including actor Rob Schneider and author Frank Turek, who is known for his Christian views and ties to the organization’s late founder, Charlie Kirk.

A letter from the Justice Department indicates that the Civil Rights Division is concerned about several incidents that transpired on the UC Berkeley campus. In a separate incident, four UC Berkeley students were apprehended on felony vandalism charges related to an anti-Turning Point display that was hung in a restricted area.
