In the images, a Black man wearing a black beanie is seen. Although police have not yet identified the suspect, he is currently wanted for an assault related to the incident.

According to police reports, the shooting occurred on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at approximately 2:06 A.M. An unidentified assailant fired a weapon in front of 156 West 38th Street, striking a 29-year-old male in the abdomen. The suspect reportedly fled the scene on foot, traveling east on West 38th Street.

Police have provided details regarding the suspect’s appearance. Investigators describe the individual as male with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a black cap, black sweatshirt, black pants, and multi-colored sneakers, and he was carrying a black backpack.
