U.S. Military to Utilize Confiscated Chinese Drones for Innovative Target Practice in Florida
In a rare move, Florida officials have announced that over 500 confiscated Chinese drones will undergo military target practice. This initiative will facilitate both evaluation and training for elite U.S. forces. Rather than simply destroying these drones through incineration, the U.S. Special Operations Command, known as SOCOM, has plans to bring them down with shotguns.

According to Bloomberg News, this unique training method resembles the way a hunter would take aim at a duck. The twin goals are to effectively dismantle these unmanned aerial vehicles while honing the soldiers’ skills in counter-drone tactics.
