WASHINGTON, D.C. – Former President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump made a notable appearance on the red carpet, joined by a host of celebrity friends at the world premiere of the documentary titled “MELANIA” held at the Trump Kennedy Center on Thursday evening.
This documentary, produced by Amazon MGM Studios and directed by Brett Ratner, delves into Melania Trump’s journey, highlighting key moments in her life leading to Trump’s upcoming inauguration in 2025. It features her transition from Trump Tower in New York City to Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, with a glimpse into life behind the scenes at the White House. This project marks the inaugural release from Melania Trump’s newly established film production company, Muse Films.
Prior to the premiere, both President Trump and Melania reflected on the First Lady’s increasing willingness to express her views this term.
President Trump shared his observations, stating to Fox News Digital, “I’ve noticed that myself. She has been more outspoken. That comes with time. She’s done a great job. She’s very popular, a very respected person.”
Melania echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing her thoughtful approach to communication. “I’m very selective in what I do, when I talk,” she remarked. “And that is my choice, and I’m mission and action-oriented. We had a very successful first year in my office as First Lady, and I’m proud of what we achieved.”
Several VIPs who attended the premiere spoke highly of Melania Trump, expressing hope that this documentary would reveal the often-hidden facets of her personality.
U.S. Attorney Alina Habba remarked, “I hope they get to see what I see. She is incredibly astute and incredibly involved. She does everything with grace. I think we get to see a little bit of that in the movie tonight. She’s such a breath of fresh air because she literally, almost like President Trump, is just going to do it her way.”
