Quinton Aaron’s family has confirmed that the talented actor recently endured a spinal stroke. This news surfaces just days after reports indicated he spent time on life support due to a severe blood infection.
In a heartfelt statement provided to Fox News Digital, the family expressed gratitude for the love and prayers flowing in from fans and the community. They stated, “We truly appreciate the overwhelming support Quinton has received over the past few days from his fans, the public, and our concerned community.”
The family provided further updates, noting that Aaron remains alert and aware as he continues to recover. They remarked, “He is recovering, and we will keep everyone informed about Quinton’s health as appropriate.” The Aaron family is focused on their loved one during this difficult time but assured fans they will share information as it becomes available.
In light of the overwhelming media attention, they cautioned supporters against relying on any news outside of official statements from family members. The family emphasized, “Any information you hear regarding Quinton’s health from sources other than his official relatives or our spokesperson, Liana Mendoza, should not be considered factual.”
Moreover, they appealed for respect regarding their privacy during this time of uncertainty. The statement continued, “We kindly ask the public to understand that misinformation may circulate, often from individuals unaware of the facts surrounding his condition. It is crucial that they refrain from discussing Quinton’s health without consent, as doing so could violate HIPAA laws and may have legal consequences.”
Quinton’s wife, Margarita Aaron, provided additional details about her husband’s situation. She confirmed to Fox News Digital that he was intubated and placed on life support due to a severe blood infection on Friday, January 23. The couple faced a challenging weekend as doctors worked to ascertain the source of the infection.
Margarita remained optimistic, referring to Quinton as “a very strong fighter”. She recounted a visit to him over the weekend, where he showed some responsiveness. “Although he seemed a little lucid, he was not very responsive at times. However, I did manage to get a thumbs up from him during our chat, which was promising. Thankfully, the breathing assistance from the endotracheal tube is not doing all the work.”
