Rob Lowe recently found himself at the center of an amusing incident during a Hollywood bus tour. Tourists mistook the veteran actor for fellow celebrity John Stamos, prompting a light-hearted response from Lowe.
In a video shared on social media, a Hollywood tour guide introduced Lowe to a group of excited tourists as John Stamos. The mix-up quickly caught the actor off guard. He was heard exclaiming, “What the f—,” showcasing his disbelief at the situation.
As the tour guide remarked, “He looks like him, you know,” laughter erupted among the passengers. Lowe, embodying his signature humor, approached the bus and asked, “Hey guys, am I John Stamos?” The tourists eagerly corrected him, shouting, “No, Rob Lowe!”
Following the playful exchange, Lowe jovially called out to the tour guide, urging him, “Dude, you got to get better at your job!” It was all in good fun. The tour guide responded, acknowledging the situation by stating, “It’s usually about having fun, you know. I didn’t expect to run into people.”
Backing away from the bus, Lowe quipped, “Oh, I see, don’t listen to him,” maintaining the comedic tone of the moment. The Instagram video concluded with the tour guide thanking Lowe for his “cool energy,” leaving the group in high spirits.
Rob Lowe later tagged his son, John Owen Lowe, in an Instagram post, humorously asking if he was being punked. In response, John Owen remarked, “The people have spoken.” The comments section exploded with responses from other celebrities, including Kimberly Williams-Paisley, who playfully commented, “I love you, John Stamos!”
