Recent court documents reveal that Vallow Daybell alleges Juror 15 participated in a local television interview in which they acknowledged prior knowledge of her murder convictions from Idaho. This information, according to Vallow’s claims, was never disclosed during the trial, leading to concerns about the jury’s impartiality.
After the trial concluded, Vallow Daybell, who opted to represent herself in court, recounted Juror 15’s reaction upon learning of her past convictions. The juror expressed sympathy, stating, “You know, I feel sorry for her. Driving home yesterday, I was like, ‘God she’s spending the next three lives in prison in a cell…’” These remarks, cited in the documents, indicate a potential influence on the juror’s decision-making process.
In a broader context, Vallow Daybell and her husband, Chad Daybell, were convicted for the murders of her two children, seven-year-old Joshua ‘JJ’ Vallow and sixteen-year-old Tylee Ryan in 2019.
