Islamabad and New Delhi Reflect on De-escalation Amid Escalating Missile Strikes
On Saturday, Pakistan’s foreign minister expressed a willingness to consider a path toward de-escalation if India halts its recent missile attacks. This statement comes after India conveyed a desire to avoid further conflict, contingent on similar actions from Pakistan.

Dar relayed his perspective during an interview with Pakistan’s Geo News. He also indicated that he communicated his concerns directly to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who had reached out after speaking with Indian officials.

Pakistan has reported that it launched targeted military operations within India in response to ongoing provocations. Dar mentioned that Islamabad would reassess its actions if India ceased its military efforts.
