Luce Allen, a senior transgender girl, celebrated a remarkable victory in a 200-meter race at a Pennsylvania high school track meet. She defeated a freshman biological female by a mere 0.15 seconds, highlighting the ongoing discussions surrounding transgender athletes in competitive sports.
Representing Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School, Allen recorded a personal best of 25.20 seconds during the race, part of the SOL American meet. This latest win marks her sixth victory this season, including a strong performance in the girls’ 4×400-meter relay, which took place at the same event.
