Sonja Horton, the individual at the center of this controversy, shared her concerns after encountering a biological male in the female locker room at the Palm Beach Gardens location of Life Time Fitness. According to Horton, she felt unsafe during her experience in the sauna, where she noticed a man in a bikini. She recounted that the front desk staff told her that individuals could choose their locker room based on their gender identity.
