Liana Werner-Gray’s battle with cancer began 15 years ago, and she attributes her survival to significant changes in her diet and lifestyle. Today, she advocates for holistic health approaches, emphasizing the importance of nutrition in cancer recovery.
In an exclusive interview on Capitol Hill, Werner-Gray shared her inspiring health journey while attending a hearing led by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on health matters. The discussion highlighted her belief that dietary choices have a profound impact on health.
At just 21 years old, Werner-Gray received a diagnosis of a tumor and early-stage cancer affecting her lymphatic system while living in her native Australia. Alongside these challenges, she grappled with chronic fatigue and digestive issues.
Werner-Gray explained that the lymphatic system plays a crucial role in removing toxins from the body. “The only reason you get cancer in your lymphatic system is because you have too many toxins in your body,” she stated. This realization prompted her to scrutinize her eating habits.
Recalling her typical diet, she remarked, “I knew it was my diet. Because my diet was horrendous.” Rather than opting for conventional treatments like surgery or chemotherapy, she chose to make radical changes to her food intake.
Collaborating with a naturopath and a functional medicine doctor, Werner-Gray embarked on an extensive detox program, focusing on improving her gut health. Her new approach yielded swift results: “After three months, the tumor had completely dissolved,” she recounted, highlighting the dramatic improvement in her overall health.
Inspired by her recovery, Werner-Gray launched
