Joe Rogan Embraces Faith as Church Attendance Sparks Spiritual Renaissance

Prominent podcast host Joe Rogan appears to be shifting his Sunday routine to include church attendance.

This transformation is reportedly influenced by discussions with Christian apologist Wesley Huff, who was a guest on “The Joe Rogan Experience” earlier this year. Huff indicates that Rogan has been attending church consistently since their enlightening dialogue about Christianity and biblical teachings.

Huff, who leads Apologetics Canada in Central Canada, mentioned, “Joe Rogan and I have maintained occasional communication since then. I can confirm that he is indeed attending a church regularly. Things are evolving positively.” He shared these insights during a recent discussion on the “Living Waters” podcast.

Expressing optimism, Huff stated that he finds the ongoing dialogue with Rogan very encouraging.

“He is an inquisitive person,” Huff observed. “His conversations with me and others in his life are influencing his understanding of the reliability and truthfulness of Scripture, guiding him on where to seek deeper insights.”

Resurgence of Interest in Christianity

Huff also identified a broader trend of rising interest in Christianity. He noted the astonishing success of podcasts like Ascension’s “Rosary in a Year,” which temporarily surpassed Rogan’s own podcast on the Apple charts earlier this year.

Following this notable shift in rankings, Rogan invited Huff for a discussion on his widely popular show, which boasts millions of listeners worldwide.

Engaging Youth with Faith

According to Huff, there is a noticeable increase in the number of young individuals exploring Christian faith. He shared an anecdote from a bookstore, which reported a surge in teenagers seeking Bibles, with one young customer expressing, “All my friends are reading this thing.” This highlights the curiosity among youth regarding religious texts.

“Recently, we received a call from a traditional Christian bookstore, possibly the last of its kind. They reported young customers entering, requesting Bibles and mentioning that all their friends are engaged in reading it,” Huff recounted.

Data Supporting the Trend

Statistics align with Huff’s observations. A recent study conducted by the American Bible Society revealed a significant rise in Bible engagement, climbing from 38% to 41%. This increase is particularly pronounced among young people and men.

Millennials saw a remarkable 29% rise in Bible use from 2024 to 2025, while men experienced a 19% increase, which has narrowed the historically significant gender gap in scripture engagement.

Furthermore, among Generation Z, engagement with the Bible climbed from 11% in 2024 to 15% in 2025. This growth indicates a tangible shift in how younger demographics perceive and interact with spiritual texts.

“When we see the Bible gaining traction among teenagers, it signals a significant movement, suggesting that there is a divine influence at work,” Huff concluded.

The surge in church attendance and Bible engagement suggests a notable shift in societal attitudes towards faith and spirituality. Rogan’s engagement with these themes could represent a broader movement towards religious exploration among public figures and their audiences.
