Burke’s personal health journey includes her battle with three autoimmune diseases. She has been open about her struggles, which include vitiligo and inflammatory bowel disease, alongside Hashimoto’s disease, a disorder affecting the thyroid. Additionally, she underwent a thyroidectomy for thyroid cancer in 2012 and has since remained cancer-free.
