Former USMNT Player Identifies Crucial Challenge

“Not having our best player available is significant. Whenever the national team plays, I want to see our top players on the field. The excitement and enthusiasm of our best athletes should be palpable. We need players who are eager to represent the nation at every opportunity,” he reflected.

Holden, who represented the USMNT from 2008 to 2013 and scored three goals during his tenure, now works as a soccer analyst for Fox Sports. He feels excited about the potential to showcase the thriving soccer culture in the United States, especially from his base in Los Angeles.
“As a long-time resident of L.A., I anticipate the opportunity for fans to come here and experience our vibrant soccer culture firsthand. The 1994 World Cup final established a legacy that we continue to build upon today,” Holden said.
