All Elite Wrestling is set to elevate its presence in the world of professional wrestling with the upcoming All In: Texas, a premier pay-per-view event that promises to be a highlight of the wrestling calendar. Taking place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, home of the Texas Rangers, this significant event features an exciting lineup of matches with championship implications.
This will mark the third annual All In event and the fourth in AEW’s history. Previously, the annual pay-per-view was hosted at Wembley Stadium in London, where it recorded unprecedented attendance figures. The inaugural All In event in 2018 played a pivotal role in paving the way for AEW to establish itself as a leading force in professional wrestling across North America.
During this year’s event, at least six championships will be contested, raising the stakes for all participants. One of the marquee matches features Jon Moxley defending his AEW World Championship against challenger “Hangman” Adam Page. Moxley, who has held the title since defeating Bryan Danielson in September, has fortified his defenses with the support of his faction, the Death Riders. With the future of his title at stake, Moxley’s experience will be put to the test.
Page earned his shot at Moxley’s title after triumphing in the Owen Hart Foundation tournament, marking his return to the title contention after engaging in fierce rivalries with prominent stars such as MJF and Swerve Strickland. His past title victory against Kenny Omega at Full Gear in 2021 adds an extra layer of intrigue to this clash. Fans eagerly await the showdown, especially since the match will take place under the unique stipulations of a Texas Death Match.
The action intensifies with a highly anticipated women’s championship match. “Timeless” Toni Storm, fresh off reclaiming the AEW Women’s World Championship from Mariah May at Grand Slam Australia, will put her title on the line against the formidable Mercedes Moné. Storm’s fourth reign as champion faces one of its toughest challenges yet.
Moné, currently holding multiple titles including the AEW TBS Championship and the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship, has been a dominant force in women’s wrestling. Her victory in the Owen Hart Foundation tournament secured her place as Storm’s challenger, building excitement among fans for this high-stakes match between two of the sport’s finest female competitors.
In addition to the marquee championship clashes, several other title matches are scheduled. AEW fans can look forward to a unification bout where Kenny Omega faces Kazuchika Okada to merge the Continental and International Championships. Meanwhile, Adam Cole will defend the TNT Championship against rising star Kyle Fletcher. The AEW Tag Team Championship is also up for grabs as The Hurt Syndicate, featuring Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin, takes on JetSpeed’s Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey as well as The Patriarchy’s Christian Cage and Nick Wayne.
The card also includes various non-title matches with significant ramifications. In one standout match, Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay will face off against The Young Bucks, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson. The stakes heighten as the outcome of this match could lead to Strickland and Ospreay challenging for the AEW World Championship for the entire year depending on who emerges victorious.
Additionally, casino gauntlet matches will provide opportunities for men and women to vie for future AEW title shots. Notable participants such as Mark Briscoe, MJF, and Mistico are set to compete among the men, while Kris Statlander and Megan Bayne aim for glory among the women.
Before the main card kicks off, fans can enjoy two pre-show matches. The first will see FTR’s Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood take on The Outrunners, featuring Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd. Additionally, in an eight-man tag match, “Big Boom!” A.J. and The Conglomerate’s Kyle O’Reilly and Tomohiro Ishii will face The Don Callis Family, comprised of Hechicero, Lance Archer, Rocky Romero, and Trent Beretta.
The excitement kicks off during the zero hour show, starting at 1 p.m. ET, followed by the main event matches at 3 p.m. ET. Fans worldwide are gearing up for a night filled with adrenaline-pumping action, dramatic storylines, and unforgettable matches.
