“Many frozen meals deliver more than half of the recommended daily sodium intake, leading to increased blood pressure and water retention,” she indicated. This can lead to strain on the kidneys over time.

Furthermore, Simmons pointed out that numerous frozen options have unhealthy fats, preservatives, and additives associated with inflammation and cardiovascular issues. The presence of certain plastics can leach harmful chemicals when heated, further amplifying health concerns.

Diet Sodas
