Las Vegas is experiencing a notable decline in tourism, according to recent statistics that highlight a drop in the number of visitors to the renowned entertainment hub.
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority reported a 12 percent decrease in visitor numbers for July when compared to the same month last year. The latest figures indicate that 3,089,300 tourists visited Las Vegas in July, significantly lower than the over 3.5 million who traveled to the city during the same month in 2022. Additionally, hotel occupancy along the famed Strip fell by 7 percent, dropping from 86.5 percent last year.
