The roommate, whose identity remains undisclosed as no charges have been filed, had been in a romantic relationship with the suspect, Tyler Robinson, who is also 22. According to the relative, the individual is in the process of transitioning from male to female.

The relative, who requested anonymity, observed that the roommate’s behavior changed significantly after turning 18. They mentioned a developing hostility towards Christians and conservatives that was reportedly absent during his upbringing.

“He hates conservatives and Christians,” the relative stated. “He was not raised that way, but as the years progressed, he became detached and has been radicalized.”

This alarming transformation, according to the relative, has evidently worsened over the past year or two. They noted that the roommate often exhibits anger and frustration.

Influence of the Relationship

The relative suspects that Tyler Robinson’s political views may have been influenced by his partner over the course of their year-long relationship.

“I believe Tyler became significantly more extreme since they started dating. They are avid video gamers, and naturally, their social circles have a strong influence on them,” the relative remarked. “My gut tells me the roommate played a larger role in shaping Tyler’s thoughts.”
