Jimmy Kimmel Critiques JD Vance Following Charlie Kirk’s Tragic Assassination
Late-night comedy host Jimmy Kimmel confronted Vice President JD Vance on Tuesday. This came shortly after Vance invited Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, onto his podcast in the wake of Kirk’s assassination.
Kimmel expressed his disapproval, stating that many supporters within the MAGA movement seem to be exploiting this tragedy for political gain. He pointed out that Vance, who has previously labeled Donald Trump as ‘America’s Hitler,’ hosted ‘The Charlie Kirk Podcast’ directly from the White House. In doing so, he accused Vance of directing blame towards the left without adequate justification.
During the show, Vance made allegations that ‘most of the lunatics in American politics today are proud members of the far left.’ In response, Kimmel dismissed this claim, labeling it as entirely unfounded. He emphasized this point by showcasing a video segment featuring Vance’s comments.
After playing the clip, Kimmel stated, “And by ‘statistical fact,’ he means complete nonsense.” His sharp critique highlighted the lack of accuracy in Vance’s remarks.
