Imagine a future where a robot could manage cleaning, serving, and even tackle complex tasks in your home or workplace. This vision is becoming increasingly tangible with the introduction of the Quanta X2 by X Square Robot.
Recently launched, the Quanta X2 emerges as a cutting-edge robotic butler engineered for both dexterity and adaptability. Accompanying this launch is a groundbreaking open-source artificial intelligence model known as Wall-OSS, intended to equip robots with the ability to respond to unpredictable real-world scenarios.
These exciting developments follow a substantial funding infusion of approximately $100 million from a Series A+ round. This investment was primarily led by Alibaba Cloud, with contributions from notable firms including HongShan, INCE Capital, Meituan, Legend Star, and Legend Capital.
The Quanta X2 stands out in the realm of robotics. At a height of 5 feet 8 inches and weighing approximately 210 pounds, it boasts an impressive 62 degrees of freedom that allows for fluid, lifelike motions. Its seven-degree-of-freedom robotic arm, enhanced by sensitive hands, can detect pressure variations and perform intricate movements seamlessly.
Equipped for both cleaning and interaction, the Quanta X2 can grip various objects, clean surfaces, and convey emotions through gestures. Thanks to a modular clamp system, it can attach brushes or mop heads, enabling 360-degree cleaning capabilities. With a reach of 30 inches, a payload capacity of about 13 pounds, and precision down to 0.001 inches, this robot is engineered to effectively function in both domestic and industrial environments.
Alongside the Quanta X2, X Square Robot is proud to unveil Wall-OSS, an innovative open-source AI model. Designed using vision-language-action data, Wall-OSS empowers robots to
