In a startling revelation, actor Charlie Sheen shared that former U.S. President Bill Clinton once tried to make a romantic advance towards Sheen’s girlfriend during the 1980s.
In his memoir titled The Book of Sheen, the 60-year-old actor reflects on a memorable encounter with Clinton, who was serving as governor of Arkansas at that time. This encounter took place while Sheen was filming the movie Three for the Road in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1987.
Sheen and his co-stars, Alan Ruck and Kerri Green, were invited to the Arkansas governor’s mansion for a photo opportunity. Accompanying Sheen was his then-girlfriend, actress Dolly Fox, who became a key part of this intriguing story.

During the visit to the governor’s mansion, Sheen reminisces about receiving a pair of unmistakably kitschy red and white Razorback shoes from Clinton, designed specifically in homage to the state’s sports mascot. The actor described the moment as surreal.
However, this whimsical exchange took a surprising turn when Ruck alerted Sheen to a seemingly flirtatious moment between Clinton and Fox. According to Sheen, Ruck claimed to have overheard Clinton whispering to one of his aides about wanting to know more about the brunette.

Reflecting on the situation, Sheen admitted it was disheartening to see Fox objectified in that manner. Nevertheless, he felt a sense of pride that a figure like “Bubba” had taken an interest in his girlfriend.
Sheen continued to share that later that evening, Ruck filled Fox in on the governor’s comments. Surprisingly, Fox seemed flattered by the attention, laughing about the incident.
