A woman seen in a viral surveillance video being forcibly pulled by a man outside a Wichita home has reached out to law enforcement, according to a statement from police officials on Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities revealed that around 3 p.m., they received a call from a woman who identified herself as the person in the footage. Immediate action ensued, as investigators headed to her location, made contact, and transported her to City Hall for a victim interview.
The Wichita Police Department identified the woman as a 35-year-old resident from the area where the incident transpired early Sunday morning on the 1400 block of North Volusia.
At this stage in the investigation, officers believe this incident stems from domestic violence—where the woman was a victim of her boyfriend’s actions. Fortunately, police confirmed that she does not have any significant injuries.

Moses warned, “Anything that comes from another source has not been verified. We cannot confirm the accuracy or the validity of that information.”
