A 53-year-old staff member at a Massachusetts school died on Thursday after a 14-year-old student allegedly kicked her in the chest during an incident inside a dormitory. This incident, which shocked the community, is under investigation by local authorities.

The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office confirmed that the incident unfolded on Wednesday evening at 6:55 p.m. at Meadowridge Academy in Swansea. The student attempted to leave the dormitory without permission.
