A Detransitioner’s Testimony: Exposing Medical Misconduct in Gender-Affirming Care

This summer, I, along with fellow detransitioners, presented a compelling case to the Federal Trade Commission regarding serious issues within the medical establishment. We shared our experiences of being misled as children. We were promised that we could change our sex if we followed the prescribed medical regimen involving puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries to remove healthy body parts.

Ultimately, those assurances were false. The idea that one can truly switch sexes is simply untrue.

Our parents were pressured into believing that without these medical interventions, we would face imminent danger, even self-harm. However, this claim lacks evidence, as research does not support assertions that individuals identifying as transgender are at a higher risk of suicide without affirmation.
