An Afghan national has been arrested following the posting of a video on TikTok, where he suggested he was constructing a bomb with a target in the Fort Worth area of Texas. The Department of Homeland Security, or DHS, confirmed the arrest details to Fox News.

Mohammad Dawood Alokozay faces charges at the state level for making a terroristic threat. This incident raises concerns regarding the resettlement of Afghan nationals in the United States.

Alokozay entered the United States as part of Operation Allies Welcome, an initiative by the Biden administration aimed at resettling Afghans after the U.S. military withdrawal from Afghanistan in the summer of 2021.
