The Republican Party headquarters in Albuquerque has fallen victim to an alleged arson attack, along with acts of vandalism, as reported by the organization. The incident, which reportedly took place early Sunday morning, left the entrance of the building significantly damaged.

According to officials, the Albuquerque Fire Department responded to the incident shortly before 6 a.m. The fire was under control within five minutes of their arrival, as confirmed by a post on the department’s Facebook page.

The fire department disclosed that the main structure sustained serious damage to the front entryway and smoke damage permeated throughout the building. Thankfully, no injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported, a relief amidst the alarming turn of events.
