President Donald Trump has set in motion a significant initiative aimed at transforming the Department of Education. This ambitious plan, however, faces considerable hurdles as it must navigate the complexities of Congress. In a recent spending bill, Republican lawmakers allocated much of the funding necessary to sustain the Department of Education, an effort intended to avert a government shutdown.
