Officials in Egypt recently announced a fascinating discovery at a 3,000-year-old gold mining complex. This site, rich in archaeological treasures, includes remains of ancient homes, workshops, and even baths.

The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities confirmed that these excavations took place at Jabal Sukari, situated southwest of Marsa Alam in the Red Sea Governorate. The announcement, shared on social media, detailed the significance of the findings.
