Deputy Counsel to the President, Gary Lawkowski, sent these notices to prominent figures, including former Biden Chief of Staff Ron Klain, and advisors such as Anita Dunn, Steve Ricchetti, Mike Donilon, and Bruce Reed, among others.
The letters highlight that, “In light of the unique and extraordinary nature of the matters under investigation, President Trump has determined that asserting executive privilege is not in the national interest, therefore not justified, regarding particular subjects under the House Oversight Committee’s purview.” These subjects notably include evaluations of President Biden’s fitness for office and insights about who wielded executive powers during his administration.
