He articulated, "You're not hearing much from Republican leadership about spending cuts." This statement underscores what he views as a significant gap in the GOP’s current strategy.

Good acknowledged the efforts of former President Donald Trump, appreciating his actions in several areas. He remarked that Trump had done "a great job in many executive actions" but criticized these moves as temporary fixes. He emphasized that without legislative backing, these actions could easily be reversed by future Democratic administrations.

According to Good, the most pressing issue facing the GOP is their lack of focus on the nation’s escalating debt and deficit. He firmly stated, "The big glaring weakness for all of Republican government is the failure to address spending adequately."

In response to the ongoing debate, the House Freedom Caucus issued a statement underscoring their concerns. They indicated that the proposed legislation "does not yet meet the moment." Despite the loss, Good remains engaged in political discourse. He has shown interest in potentially running for office again, indicating that he is exploring his options and seeking guidance through prayer. His previous endorsement of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for the presidency, followed by his support for Trump after DeSantis exited the race, reflects Good’s dynamic political alignment.
