Reality TV star Christina Haack recently announced the settlement of her divorce from Josh Hall, marking the conclusion of her third marriage.
The 41-year-old HGTV personality shared this significant development nearly ten months after both she and Hall filed for divorce last July. In a statement released to Fox News Digital, Haack’s representative confirmed the successful mediation settlement.
“Christina is pleased to confirm that a settlement has been reached through mediation,” stated the representative. “She extends her sincere appreciation to her attorney, Laura Wasser, and her team for their professional guidance and support throughout the process.”
As is common in celebrity divorces, the specifics of the settlement between Haack and Hall have not been disclosed to the public.
On Friday, the host of “Christina on the Coast” took to Instagram to celebrate the successful resolution of her divorce. In her post, she expressed gratitude to her legal team, specifically praising Wasser as the “disso queen.”
Haack wrote, “You are all a true class act. I loved watching you in action and how you handle everything and everyone with class and grace. I appreciate you all beyond words. I have learned so much under your guidance.”
She further noted, “And I’m grateful to have this behind me. I can’t wait to move on with my life and focus on what’s ahead and all my blessings.” A video accompanying her post showed the star clinking wine glasses with a friend, underlining her celebratory mood.
Haack’s marital history includes her first marriage to Tarek El Moussa from 2009 to 2018. The couple shares two children—Taylor, age 14, and Brayden, age 9—and they co-hosted the hit HGTV show “Flip or Flop” from 2013 until 2022.
Following her divorce from El Moussa, Haack married Ant Anstead in December 2018. They welcomed a son, Hudson, now 5, before divorcing in June 2021.
Haack began dating Hall in March 2021. The couple married secretly in October of that year before holding a formal ceremony in Hawaii.
In July, both Haack and Hall filed their own divorce petitions, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause of their separation. Hall sought spousal support while simultaneously asking the court to terminate Haack’s right to receive spousal support from him. Conversely, Haack requested termination of the right to spousal support for both parties, arguing that Hall had sufficient income from his own resources.
Publicly, Hall requested privacy during these turbulent times, stating, “I prefer privacy, especially during something as life-changing as a divorce I did not ask for. I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends, and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately, the internet is forever.”
Despite his plea, the divorce proceedings turned contentious, with both parties having exchanged criticisms via social media.
Prior to initiating divorce proceedings, Haack and Hall filmed segments for HGTV’s “The Flip Off” alongside her ex-husband Tarek and his new wife, Heather Rae El Moussa. However, Hall made a brief appearance, as his relationship with Haack deteriorated soon after their split.
During an episode of the show airing in February, Haack discussed ongoing negotiations with Hall regarding their settlement. She claimed that Hall continued to make her what she termed “financial offers” and expressed amusement over his intentions, suggesting he wanted to retire off her earnings.
Haack later reflected on the situation, admitting, “Honestly, if I would’ve really understood the repercussions of all of this, I would’ve gotten a prenup or I would’ve never married him.”
Looking ahead, both Haack and Hall have begun new chapters in their personal lives. Following their split, Haack shared glimpses of her budding romance with boyfriend Christopher Larocca, the CEO and president of Network Connex, on social media.
Meanwhile, Hall seemingly confirmed his relationship with model Stephanie Gabrys by sharing a birthday tribute on Instagram. In the post, he wrote, “Happy Birthday to this real life angel,” alongside a photo of Gabrys sitting on his lap.
Christina Haack’s recent divorce settlement signifies her readiness to move forward after a challenging period. As she expresses excitement for what lies ahead, her journey serves as a reminder of the complexities of love and relationships, especially in the public eye.
With past challenges behind her, Haack looks ahead to new opportunities both personally and professionally. Her resilience and determination to focus on her blessings herald a promising new chapter in her life.
