Johnson’s insights come from both personal experience and his family background. As the child of a veteran teacher, he recognizes the ongoing decline in public education in America. He stated, “It’s getting worse, and that’s why I’m invested in this fight. My mom has been a teacher for over 40 years, and I understand the significance of serving youth effectively. They often need more support and resources to thrive.”
He emphasizes the urgent need for changes in public education to better cater to students. “Public schools are at a standstill, and we must focus on them with more resources and strategic funding. It’s not just about throwing money at the issue but rather utilizing it wisely to ensure effective support for educators and students alike,” he said.
