Ben Harrell, the managing director of Booking.com, shared insights regarding the awards. He noted that this year’s global honors recognized more than 70,000 partners within the United States alone, celebrating outstanding customer service and friendly environments.

Most Welcoming States and Cities

The awards highlighted Hawaii, Maine, Washington D.C., Utah, and Idaho as the most welcoming states and districts in the nation. Additionally, standout cities that graced the list include Saint Augustine, Florida; Cape May, New Jersey; Newport, Rhode Island; Joshua Tree, California; and Sedona, Arizona.

Among these, Saint Augustine holds particular significance as it has also been recognized among the most welcoming cities globally. Harrell emphasizes its unique charm and the sense of hospitality found within this historic locale.
