The country star disclosed that she suffered from a kidney stone, which led to an infection. She shared that her doctor advised her against traveling. “You don’t need to be traveling right this minute, so you need a few days to get better,” Parton explained.

“So, he suggested I not go to Dollywood today, but I’m there with you in spirit,” she added. Parton expressed her disappointment at missing the event, saying, “I was looking so forward to it.”
