A former NCAA women’s basketball player at Regis University in Colorado, Erika later transferred to Arizona State University. There, she earned dual majors in political science and international relations, followed by a Juris Master degree in American legal studies from Liberty University, where she is currently pursuing a doctorate in Biblical studies. In 2012, she was crowned Miss Arizona USA.
