The trial of Karen Read, accused in the death of Boston Police Officer John O’Keefe, has introduced new evidence aimed at bolstering the prosecution’s narrative. A crash expert’s testimony provided crucial data, placing Read’s vehicle at the scene during the final movements of O’Keefe on January 29, 2022.

Read, who is 45 years old, faces serious charges in connection with the incident, which allegedly involved her running over O’Keefe, 46, in a drunken rage. The prosecution claims that she left him outside, ultimately resulting in his death from exposure in the neighbor’s yard in Canton, Massachusetts.
