EXCLUSIVE — Frank Stallone recently expressed his support for President Donald Trump’s policies while reflecting on a memorable moment featuring his brother, Sylvester Stallone. During an event in November, Sylvester introduced Trump as “the second George Washington,” showcasing his overflowing enthusiasm.
While speaking at the America First Policy Institute Gala held at Mar-a-Lago, Sylvester commented on Trump’s remarkable journey. He stated, “We are in the presence of a really mythical character. Nobody in the world could have pulled off what he pulled off, so I’m in awe. When George Washington defended his country, he had no idea that he was going to change the world. Guess what? We have got the second George Washington. Congratulations!”
In a conversation with Fox News Digital, Frank discussed how his brother’s political stance may not surprise fans, yet Sylvester’s public declaration left little doubt about his ideological beliefs.
Frank mentioned, “You know, he was kind of cloistered about it before because he has three daughters. He just didn’t want the heat to come down. But at that Trump event, when he went up and made the comparison to George Washington— that was impromptu. He wasn’t scheduled to say anything. They encouraged him to go up there, and he did. He’s very glib and knows how to articulate. I said, ‘well, the cat’s out of the bag now.'”
Continuing, Frank added, “I think everyone knew he was conservative, but now the cat’s out of the bag, buddy. That’s just how it is. In America, you’re allowed to support who you want. It doesn’t matter who they are. You’re free to like who you want. As long as you aren’t bothering anybody, who cares?”
In January, Trump appointed Sylvester as one of his ambassadors to Hollywood along with notable figures like Mel Gibson and Jon Voight. Trump shared his vision for revitalizing Hollywood, stating, “They will serve as Special Envoys for the purpose of bringing Hollywood, which has lost much business over the last four years to foreign countries, back — bigger, better, and stronger than ever before!”
Frank has been candid about his own conservative views. He discussed the backlash faced by himself and others in the entertainment industry for their outspoken stances. When asked if he has encountered repercussions for his political beliefs, he replied, “Maybe not blatantly, but I’m doing pretty well financially. My career is going to follow its course, you know? I know a lot of fair-minded people in this industry. You don’t have to be conservative to have common sense. But I’m just a concerned American who has seen the decline in many areas. That’s my perspective. I’m not a political pundit at all.”
Noting the current climate, Frank stated, “I don’t want to debate with activist politicians. I just talk about common sense. Crime and homelessness are serious issues. Spending billions on ineffective initiatives doesn’t bode well either.”
On the political scene, Frank praised Trump’s recent address to Congress, where Trump highlighted stirring stories, including that of 13-year-old brain cancer survivor DJ Daniel. The address stirred mixed responses, especially from Democrats, who faced criticism for their lack of support during poignant moments showcasing heart-wrenching narratives.
Reflecting on Trump’s speech, Frank remarked, “I thought it was classic. He’s irreverent, which makes him humorous. But what broke my heart was seeing mothers in the audience who lost their children to violence, while some Democrats sat there without clapping. It was disheartening to witness such a lack of empathy for people suffering. No matter your political affiliations, shouldn’t compassion be universal?”
Following the address, some Democrats acknowledged that their silence during significant moments was a poor choice, which could impact their public reception.
“He is going to get things done,” Frank continued about Trump. “His drive will ensure progress. With him and Vance in this new administration, I genuinely feel safe. There is a different vibe out there, and people are starting to feel empowered. They’re beginning to feel secure again.”
While discussing his own career, Frank revealed he continues to pursue music and acting. He remains dedicated to his craft, saying, “I’ve had ups and downs, but overall, it’s been a fantastic journey. I truly love what I do, and despite getting older, I’m in good shape. I can still perform for hours and enjoy it. How many people can say they genuinely love their work? Not many.”
As Frank Stallone continues to navigate his career, he remains resolute in his beliefs about political awareness, responsibility, and the power of the arts. His story illustrates how personal and political lives intertwine in the landscape of modern America.
