A board member of the Georgetown College Republicans has called for a comprehensive investigation into a controversial recruitment campaign by a leftist gun club. This demand follows the distribution of flyers that referenced the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
Echoes of Dismay
Knox Graham, speaking on “America Reports” Thursday, articulated a widespread feeling of horror within the Georgetown community regarding the presence of these flyers.
According to Graham, “I believe that everyone at Georgetown shares the sense of horror and dissent over the fact that these flyers were there in the first place.” His remarks highlight the broader unease felt by many students following this alarming incident.
Disturbing Imagery
Fox News Digital reported on Wednesday that red flyers, which contained shocking slogans, had been posted around campus. One flyer read, “Hey fascist! Catch!” and was linked to the John Brown Gun Club. This group has connections to leftist activism and has a controversial history. Notably, it is not recognized as an official organization by Georgetown’s CampusGroups database.
The flyers caught attention because they echoed language used on a shell casing belonging to Tyler Robinson, who has been charged in the alleged murder of Kirk. Robinson is accused of shooting Kirk in the neck on September 10 while he spoke at Utah Valley University.
Moreover, a second wave of posters surfaced on Thursday night in the university’s primary free speech area. One of these posters displayed a altered image of Kirk with his eyes blacked out, accompanied by the provocative phrases “Follow your leader” and “Rest in p-ss, Charlie.” Such displays continue to provoke strong reactions across campus.
University Response
