In a heartbreaking journey spanning nearly three years, Fox News political analyst Gianno Caldwell continues to seek answers regarding his younger brother’s murder in Chicago. Caldwell’s brother, Christian Beamon, lost his life in a tragic shooting incident that remains unresolved.
On June 24, 2022, Beamon, an 18-year-old, was among the victims of a shooting on Chicago’s South Side that resulted in two fatalities and left two others wounded. The Chicago Police Department (CPD) determined that Beamon was not the intended target of the attack.
“It’s a tragedy for my family and me,” Caldwell shared with Fox News Digital. “As someone who has actively sought answers regarding my brother’s murder, I never would have imagined we’d still be in this situation three years later. It is horrifying to know that families like mine experience this kind of prolonged anguish. I must keep fighting for my brother; I have no choice.”
The CPD revealed that their investigation into Beamon’s murder remains ongoing, and as of now, there are no arrests related to the shooting.
The devastating shooting took place on South Vincennes Avenue, occurring on a street that has become all too familiar with violence. The attack resulted in the tragic death of Beamon and an 18-year-old female as well as critical injuries to other individuals. A 31-year-old man is in critical condition, while a 25-year-old woman is recovering with a gunshot wound to the leg, according to the CPD.
Witnesses reported that an unidentified male suspect fled the scene in a black sedan heading east. Since June 2022, no further updates have surfaced in this tragic case.
