Gingrich’s Analysis
Gingrich articulated that the troubling atmosphere resembles a significant historical moment, referencing Abraham Lincoln’s words at Gettysburg. He remarked that today’s political environment poses a test for American democracy. Those on the left, as he described, seem convinced they possess the right to engage in violence, obstruct the will of the American public regarding their leaders, and break the law.
