A Republican congressman has expressed his frustration with what he terms the “scripted outrage” from the left regarding the Department of Government Efficiency and Elon Musk’s scrutiny of federal agencies. Virginia Republican Representative Ben Cline released his open letter last week in response to constituents’ anger over Musk’s leadership role in DOGE, which is tasked with reviewing government spending and eliminating fraud.
