Guy Fieri Hails America’s Progress and Cheers for a Safe Super Bowl Experience

NEW ORLEANS — Guy Fieri believes America is witnessing a significant transformation for the better. While celebrating the Super Bowl at his Flavortown Tailgate 2025 in New Orleans, Fieri emphasized the heightened security at the event, which stems from both President Donald Trump’s and Taylor Swift’s presence in the city.

Fieri, who has a long-standing connection with New Orleans, remarked on the atmosphere of vigilance. “I’ve been coming to New Orleans for a long time, I’ve got a lot of friends down here, met a lot of first responders last night. Everybody’s on watch, everybody’s aware,” he shared with Fox News Digital.

Fieri’s Optimism for America’s Future

Reflecting on the nation’s current state, Fieri stated, “Now that our country has made a gigantic pivotal change, we are set to reclaim our title as the best country in the world. Everyone can expect a great time and a safe celebration.” His positive outlook resonates with many as the country navigates its ongoing changes.

Additionally, Fieri speculated about President Trump’s potential attendance at the tailgate, adding to the excitement surrounding the event.

A Celebration of Community and Entertainment

The third annual Flavortown Tailgate is a free event featuring live performances. This year’s lineup includes popular artists such as Diplo, Flavor Flav, and Cowboy Mouth, along with complimentary food and beverages from notable brands like Carnival, Crock-Pot, King’s Hawaiian, Tyson, Sabra, Hellmann’s, GNC, and Pepsi.

Fieri emphasized the importance of collaboration with partners for the success of the tailgate. He candidly mentioned, “I dropped the bomb when I told my team I wanted to host it for free. There are enough people, and we’re the greatest country in the world. We can make anything happen that we want to make happen.” His commitment to providing a significant Super Bowl experience for the community is clear.

Making Super Bowl Memories Accessible

He acknowledged that many residents in New Orleans may not attend the Super Bowl itself. Fieri aimed to create an environment that allows fans to participate in the festivities from a distance. He appreciates the variety of sponsors that helped bring the event to life, stating, “All these different folks have made it happen and the fans, the residents of Flavortown, are going to have the best time.”

Earlier in the week, Fieri appeared on “Fox and Friends,” discussing his ambition to break the record he set in Las Vegas for the largest tailgate. He expressed excitement over the outcome, saying, “Oh, the record has been broken. It just got finalized. I went on Fox in the morning, and the boys called me in the next hour saying, ‘What did you say? Because we just sold out,’ and we gave the tickets away.”

Honoring First Responders and Veterans

Fieri revealed that he kept 2,000 tickets reserved specifically for first responders, active military, and veterans. He praised the efforts of his team at Carnival in making this inclusion possible.

A Personal Touch to Game Day

Outside of organizing an impressive tailgate, Fieri finds joy in hosting gatherings for the big game in his own home. He shared his favorite game day foods, saying, “Food is a quintessential part of it. When I’m at home, it’s typically nachos. That’s where Trash Can Nachos came from. Wings are a must, and I love anything indulgent. Pizza, French dip sandwiches, and jalapeño poppers are regulars in my game day spread.”

A Vision for Togetherness and Fun

As the Super Bowl approaches, Fieri’s enthusiasm for community and his passion for food unite countless fans. His efforts to create an inclusive, festive atmosphere reflect a broader desire for togetherness in an era marked by significant change. Whether hosting tailgate parties or sharing his culinary favorites, Fieri embodies the spirit of celebration that defines this American tradition.
