EXCLUSIVE: On Monday, a House Resolution will be introduced to affirm the Trump administration’s implementation of the Alien Enemies Act aimed at targeting individuals suspected of association with the Tren de Aragua gang.
According to Representative Jeff Crank, who is presenting the resolution, the situation is alarming. He stated, “Coloradoans already know the truth: Tren de Aragua (TdA) is a terrorist organization active in our communities right now.” This statement highlights the urgency of addressing gang-related violence.
Crank continued, “I fully support President Trump’s executive order to classify them as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. It is essential to our national security that law enforcement professionals quickly detain and deport known terrorists from our country.” Since taking office in January, Crank advocates for strict enforcement measures against crime.
The resolution explicitly expresses that the House of Representatives supports the use of the Alien Enemies Act to remove individuals linked to designated foreign terrorist organizations. Furthermore, it emphasizes the necessity of completely dismantling these organizations to safeguard the nation’s territory and security. The resolution has garnered co-sponsorship from Reps. Lauren Boebert, Sheri Biggs, Tom Tiffany, and Michael Guest.

He imposed a temporary restraining order regarding the deportation of these alleged gang members under the Alien Enemies Act of 1798. This Act, originally signed into law by former President John Adams, permits the government to act during times of war.
Colorado is experiencing an onslaught of gang-related activities involving the Venezuelan-affiliated group Tren de Aragua. Recent reports indicate that this organization has established a significant operational base within the United States.
Derek Maltz, a former DEA official, remarked, “Now, we are learning that the command and control for TdA in the entire United States of America is right here in Colorado.” His statement underscores the increasing concern among law enforcement about the extensive reach of gang activities.
In response to growing concerns about gang operations, Colorado lawmakers are actively proposing additional legislation. One pivotal proposal is the
