ENCINO, Calif. – Authorities in Los Angeles are intensifying their investigation into the tragic murders of Robin Kaye, a revered music supervisor for the show ‘American Idol,’ and her husband, Thomas Deluca. The couple was discovered deceased inside their residence on July 10, following a welfare check request that led officers to the 4700 block of White Oak Avenue.
LAPD Lieutenant Guy Golan provided further insights into the case during an interview with Fox News Digital, confirming the arrest of 22-year-old Raymond Boodarian. Authorities charged him with double homicide, though investigations presently suggest that the incident appears to have been random.
Boodarian was taken into custody at his residence located near the 19,000 block of Van Owen Street. It was reported that the arrest occurred without any incidents. Golan noted that Boodarian had not yet made any statements, but authorities aim to formally charge him with murder in the immediate future.
Golan highlighted the urgency of their investigation, stating that the team intends to compile evidence over the next 48 hours for the district attorney’s review. He remarked, ‘We’re still working on establishing any potential motive. Currently, there is no evidence linking the suspect to the victims.’
