The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas officially ended on Monday as Israel announced the resumption of airstrikes targeting Gaza. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) communicated via its X account that extensive strikes were being conducted on terror targets attributed to the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip. Israel cited Hamas’ continuous refusal to extend ceasefire negotiations and facilitate a hostage release as the driving force behind the decision to resume hostilities.
