Seni has lived through a series of intense historical events, including her service in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) during the early phases of the COVID-19 pandemic. Seni draws inspiration from her husband, Eldad Cohen, who has exhibited considerable resilience throughout their life together. She remarked, “He has been through a lot. He was injured in the army and grew up in Jerusalem during the Second Intifada. His strength and experience provide me with grounding during these tumultuous times.”

Amid the chaos, one of Seni’s passions remains her online platform, Israel with Cindy, where she shares humorous skits, photographs, and personal narratives. “I created ‘Israel with Cindy’ to spread joy within the Jewish community, and it has since expanded,” she noted. “In times of conflict, particularly following the events on October 7, I faced an overwhelming wave of hatred and antisemitism. I resolved to use my platform to expose these issues, striving for peace and understanding while humanizing Israelis and Jews, which often gets lost in today’s polarized society.”

As the conflict continues, reports indicate that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office confirmed at least 24 fatalities and over 800 injuries resulting from retaliatory strikes by Iran. Approximately 3,800 residents have been forced from their homes due to escalating violence.
These statistics paint a grim picture. Yet, amidst escalating tensions, Seni remains hopeful, placing her faith firmly in both the Israeli security forces and her spiritual beliefs. “I’m a believer in God, so I trust we have divine protection. With hope, I believe that everything will work out in the end,” she stated.
