The song’s title appeared scrawled in black paint on the bags, with some deliberately misspelled phrases.

However, the initial cover drew significant criticism from fans who expressed disappointment over her choice to utilize AI instead of collaborating with a human artist. In response to the backlash, Kesha took to Instagram on May 20 to reveal the new cover that features a captivating image of herself captured by photographer Brendan Walter. In her post, Kesha shed light on her decision to alter the single’s cover.

Kesha further elaborated, “I tried to echo my ideas in the form of a political single cover. I’ve realized that living in alignment with my integrity is more important than proving a point.” This reflection showcases her commitment to authenticity.

Regarding the change, Kesha said, “So I’ve decided to change the cover art for this song. She’s one of my favorites.” The pop star expressed gratitude for the talented team behind the new artwork, emphasizing the importance of human creativity in her work.
