Kristi Noem Equates Antifa with Terror Groups, Emphasizing National Security Concerns

During a recent White House roundtable, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem made controversial statements equating Antifa, a far-left activist group, with recognized terrorist organizations such as ISIS. Her remarks sparked significant discussion around the topic of domestic extremism in America.

In her opening remarks, Noem expressed gratitude to the journalists present for their work in covering the unrest occurring in various cities across the United States. She criticized major media outlets for allegedly ignoring or minimizing the actions of Antifa, emphasizing the importance of accurate reporting from the ground.

Noem highlighted the perceived sophistication of Antifa, comparing its organizational structure to groups such as MS-13, Hamas, and Hezbollah. She asserted that the threat they pose is serious and requires immediate attention from federal authorities.

Noem’s visit to Portland coincided with a prolonged period of unrest in the city, where protests against the ICE facility have taken place. This location has become a focal point for Antifa’s activities, leading to numerous arrests of alleged group members under the Trump administration.

In particular, Noem referenced the arrest of an individual connected to the founder of Antifa, indicating that investigators are probing deeper into the organization. Her goal, as she stated, is to eliminate Antifa’s influence within American society.

She elaborated on the organization’s intentions, claiming that its members threaten not only law enforcement and journalists but also ordinary citizens. Noem described their agenda as one aimed at dismantling American values and freedoms.
